At the heart of the Exhibition is a Touch Screen Kiosk. Viewers can access archival audio recordings of the last native speakers of their ancestral languages. A History section details the Tribes story from pre contact to the present day.

 

As part of the language section, the Children's Picture Dictionary presents the four distinct languages spoken by the tribes. Here is a sample of the "Hanis" language spoken by the Coos. Click on an animal and try it for yourself.
